We also give you a free beer every Thursday at each store from 6-10 pm and also EVERY SATURDAY NIGHT from an hour after sunset until 11 pm! (No purchase necessary, but I.D. is required for a beer.) We often have non-alcoholic spritzers as well.

2. Gift cards make great gifts! You not only give the gift of books, but the gift of browsing for books! We have physical gift cards for sale at our stores for 10% off the gift amount, or you can buy digital gift cards also discounted by 10% here. Please note that both kinds of gift cards can only be used in-store. They cannot be used to order online from us. We apologize for the inconvenience.
3. Order virtually any new in-print book from our bookshop.org link, and save 7% off the cover price!
(Purchases support independent bookstores in general and we will receive 30% of the sale.)
4. We buy records and books in-store Sun-Fri between 12 and 6 p.m. (no appointment necessary for six or fewer boxes, which should be not larger than 12 5/8 x 12 5/8 x 16 3/8), and for large collections we can often come to you.
