Amazing Books & Records is Downtown Pittsburgh's only used bookstore and record store (since opening in April 2013), and Squirrel Hill's first used bookstore in over ten years (we opened there in June 2014).
Our newest bookstore, Amazing Books & Records Emporium, is Pittsburgh's largest independent bookstore. It is a beautiful 4600 square foot space on the ever-exciting East Carson Street on the South Side. It will soon feature a vegan cafe, Serendipity Cafe, and will also be the home of Steel Quill Writers Workshop, a place where writers of all skill levels can take classes taught by professional writers in every type of writing, and also is features a greeting card and gift shop, Dandelion Cards. We even have free parking in our own lot directly behind the store on Bingham Street.
